Install DEUNA as a payment method in your VTEX store
To install DEUNA as a payment method in VTEX, follow these two simple steps:
- Add DEUNA as a payment provider.
- Set up DEUNA as a payment method.
1. Add DEUNA as a payment provider in VTEX
A payment provider in VTEX represents the connection between DEUNA and VTEX.
Follow these steps to add DEUNA in VTEX:
- Enter the VTEX administrator
- Go to Store Settings and choose Payments.
- Click on Suppliers in the search bar at the top of the page.
- Click on New Suppliers and search for DEUNA.
- Complete the details with your DEUNA account information.
Use the following table for the details of each attribute:

Delay To Cancel | Selecting this option will display the Scheduled time period in hours for automatic capture field, which must be filled in with the period in which the automatic capture will take place. This period must respect the limits allowed by the payment provider. This is expressed in seconds. | Default: 86400 |
Delay To Auto Settle | The capture occurs only when the order is invoiced. If you wish to use this option, it is important to pay attention to the time of billing, as if the order is billed for a longer period than agreed with the supplier to capture payment, the transaction may be cancelled. - Click Save to finish.
Also install the VTEX app to ensure a secure and effective connection.
2. Configure payment terms
Payment terms are the payment methods displayed on the website to complete the purchase.
Payment terms allow for the configuration of installments, interest rates, or special conditions.
Follow these steps to set up a payment term:
- Enter the VTEX administrator.
- Go to Store Settings and choose Payments.
- Clic Configuration or search for configuration in the searchbar.
- On the Payment terms tab, click +.
- Select DeunaNow as a payment method.
- Add the name of the payment method as "DEUNA".
- On the Add special condition drop-down, select Account Name.
- Search for your store and check the checkout box.
- Click Save and wait around ten minutes for the payment condition to be active.
If you have more than one account, check if you want the DEUNA payment method to appear on all your accounts. If you don't add this condition, make sure our payment app is installed on those accounts, otherwise our modal won't show up.
