VTEX installments

Configure installments with the V2 DEUNA wifget in VTEX.

DEUNA offers support for configuring installments in our widget. This can be done directly in the DEUNA administrator, allowing you to set up interest-free installments (MSI) and interest-bearing installments (MCI).

Additionally, DEUNA provides support for configuring installments that require special commercial conditions through VTEX. This capability facilitates customization of the payment process, adapting it to the specific needs of your business and your customers.

Benefits

Using the DEUNA widget to manage installments in your transactions offers clear advantages, especially when compared to the current limitations of VTEX's embedded payment plugins (Payment App):

1. Installment visualization in VTEX: With our widget, you can see the total installments reflected directly in the transaction in VTEX, a functionality that is not available in VTEX's current embedded payment plugins due to limitations in their payment protocol.
2. Support for interest-bearing installments: While VTEX's embedded payment integrations do not reflect amounts with interest, our widget does allow it, ensuring that the exact amount the buyer pays is shown, including interest.
3. Flexibility in business rules: Allows adding advanced business rules such as configuring the number of installments, franchises, payment conditions (payment method) or custom rules (order metadata). This makes it easier for transactions to be processed by the selected provider, even if this provider is not available in VTEX.
4. Improved buyer and merchant experience: By providing accurate and detailed information about installments and interest, the DEUNA widget significantly improves the experience for both the buyer and the merchant, facilitating greater transparency and trust in the payment process.

Requirements

1. DEUNA administrator credentials.
2. PSPs configured in DEUNA.

1. Access to DEUNA administrator

• Access https://admin.deuna.com
• Enter your credentials (username and password)

2. Installments configuration in DEUNA administrator

Before starting, ask the DEUNA team to enable installments in your configured PSPs.

Once you have logged into the DEUNA administrator, you can enter the "installments configuration" module for your store, where you can define the number of installments you want to support.

In the following example we show you how to configure installments with interest-free months (MSI)
